Sports Massage

Sports Massage Therapy is effective in muscle pain reduction, enhancing performance and in rehabilitation. Many chronic problems such as neck pain, tight shoulders and poor circulation will benefit from sports massage. It involves the manipulation of soft tissue for the treatment and prevention of sports and occupational injuries.

Sports massage uses a full range of techniques including trigger point therapy, joint stretching and articulation, STR (Soft Tissue Release) and vibratory movements to locate and repair any damage caused to muscles, tendons, fascia and joints.

"Many athletes believe that a complete training programme should include not just the exercise itself, but also regular massage."
